Last night we went to the local park

'Twas past our bedtime and really dark.

Crowds of people and a huge bonfire 

The flames in the sky rose higher and higher.

Colourful lights and deafening sounds.

Traffic lights change...red, amber and green

Brighter than any that I've ever seen!
