"Harvest Seasons" Jill Darby (arr. Jon Shepherd)

In the Spring the earth is waking

With the sun and gentle rain.

It's the time when nature's making

Colours come alive again.

In the Summer days are lighter

Grain is ripened by the sun.

All the world is feeling brighter

Holidays for everyone.

In the Autumn leaves are turning

Red and yellow, brown and gold.

See the garden bonfires burning

Nights will soon be getting cold.

In the Winter rivers freeze

The earth is sleeping everywhere.

Cold winds whistle through the trees

And all the ground is hard and bare.

So at harvest-time we thank you

For the lovely things you send.

For the seasons and the weather

And your gifts that never end.

"Thankyou Lord for Harvest"

All the leaves are falling down,
Orange, yellow, red and brown.
Falling softly as they do...

Thankyou Lord for Harvest!

Apples growing on the tree

Green and red for you and me

Lovely fruit for us to eat

Thankyou Lord for Harvest!

Harvest, Harvest 1and 2 and 3

See the farmers gather in

Food for you and me

Harvest, Harvest 1and 2 and 3

See the farmers gather in

Food for you and me

All the leaves are falling down,
Orange, yellow, red and brown.
Falling softly as they do...

Thankyou Lord for Harvest!

Apples growing on the tree

Green and red for you and me

Lovely fruit for us to eat

Thankyou Lord for Harvest!

Harvest, Harvest 1and 2 and 3

See the farmers gather in
